Mahindra Unveils the New XUV700 – Price Starts at ₹10,000 of ₹12 Lakh!

If Mahindra is looking to regain the SUV segment from the domination of the Korean players Hyundai & Kia, then the new XUV700 does exactly that for the Indian automobile manufacturer. Mahindra is playing to its strengths with the new XUV 700. It is one of the most awaited models of the year. It was previously thought to replace the XUV500.

Although we won’t see any more XUV500s on road for the next two years, the Indian brand is looking to relaunch a modified smaller XUV 500 that will compete with the likes of Creta, Taigun, Seltos.

     

The XUV 700 is fitted to the teeth with features like wide Skyroof, automatic extra powered headlights that gets switched on at speeds above 80 kmph. Features of XUV 700

The SUV comes with the new segment specific logo of the brand. The outward bent vertical grille, bold headlights, retractable door handles that gets inside once locked or when moving are all new additions to the design. On the inside, the XUV700 is packed with a clean and contemporary designs.

The 7” infotainment system is equipped with Amazon Alexa that can carry out a number of voice commands that makes controlling the music system, AC and other equipment much easier. Since, the new virtual assistance works on voice command, there is no need to take your hands off the wheel. This provides a better and safer driving experience.

The higher priced AX7 trim comes with advanced features like dual zone climate control, leatherette upholstery, a 6 way power adjustable seat. The seats offers memory function, so you can move the positions seamlessly when the person switches the seats.

     

The XUV 700 7 seaters will compete with the likes of Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the 5 seater will compete with the more mobile segment like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, etc.
