Here is the list of a few famous hatchback models which are going to be launched in India in 2020:
Third-gen Hyundai i20
Hyundai, after a long wait is set to launch its 3rd generation Elite i20 in India with loaded features. The model will come with a host of mechanical as well as cosmetic upgrades. The premium model is expected to get disc brakes.
Third-gen Hyundai i20 Engine:
The model will come up with a 1.0-litre powerful turbo petrol engine from the similar to the Venue and the model offers 1.5-litre diesel BS6-compliant.
Third-gen Hyundai i20 Price:
The price of the model is expected to range between anything from 5 lakhs to 6 lakhs.
Tata Altroz:
The upcoming Tata’s model was earlier to be launched by September 2019 but now it is expected to launch by early 2020. The model was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, 2019.
The India-spec Altroz is loaded with premium features such as special lighting, touchscreen infotainment which is floating, control of cruise etc.
Tata Altroz Engine:
The model will come up with two powertrains of petrol and one engine of diesel. The model is expected to be a fun drive.
As soon as the teaser was released by Tata of the Tata Altroz, there were speculations that the car will be very comfortable and fun to drive.
Tata Altroz Price:
The price of the model is expected to range between anything from 5 lakhs to 8 lakhs.
Maruti Suzuki XL5:
Maruti’s upcoming model ‘Maruti Suzuki XL5’ comes under the category of premium hatchbacks that is entirely based on the Wagon R.
The model will be seen retailing via the premium outlets of Nexa. The model is expected to come out with premium features such as LED headlamps, black alloy wheels, LED tail lamps etc. There are speculations, that the model might just get a cabin all black in colour.
Maruti Suzuki XL5 Engine:
The model’s engine will be BS6-compliant K12B, 1.2 Litres which has the capacity of developing 83PS and 113Nm.

The price of the model is expected to range between anything from 4 lakhs to 5 lakhs.
