Skoda Octavia RS 245 going to be revealed at Auto Expo 2020!

The suspense is over, Skoda Octavia is now confirmed to arrive at Auto Expo 2020. The Director of sales and marketing Mr. Zac Holls has tweeted recently about the launch of the vehicle. Mr. Holls revealed that the car will be imported from Europe by the route of CBU and will be available in our market with 200 units.

     

Talking about the specifications of the car, it offers a 2.0-liter TSI motor that produces the power of 245PS and 370Nm twist. The Skoda Octavia RS245 will be available in two models, seven-speed dual clutch automatic and six speed manual. The company claims that the Skoda Octavia RS 245 is capable enough to reach from 0 to 100kmph in just 6.6 seconds, which makes it faster than RS230 from 0.2 seconds. The car also receives an electronically limited speed that is capable of reaching around the speed of 250kmph.

It could also receive a cosmetic upgrade just like Octavia RS230, which might include large wheels, sportier bumpers and even a faux diffuser at the back. Now coming to the interior of Skoda Octavia RS 245, it will come with a dashboard which will be all-black, flat bottom steering wheels. The dollops and red stitching of the vehicle designed to attract the attention. More updates are not yet confirmed, but we can expect the car will get a bigger infotainment system and a digital instrument.

     

This sportier sedan will also arrive in the market with the FWD(front-wheel-drive system). Apart from the features, the car looks incredible from the outside. It is definitely an eye-catching car that can grab the attention of the people while you drive it. We can expect the price of Skoda Octavia RS 245 at around Rs 35 lakh, as the price of RS230 was Rs 25 lakh, RS 245 will be much expensive as it’s CBU and much upgraded than RS230.
