Top 5 Attention-Grabbing Features of New Jaguar I-Pace Electric SUV!!

The Jaguar Land Rover will be entering the electric vehicle segment of India soon. It is all set to introduce the I-Pace electric SUV. This is going to be a part of the first unit of the BEV or Battery Electric Vehicle which has of late landed near Mumbai at JNPT. The completely electric performance SUV has been imported for the purpose of testing and validation. The model looks fiery and bold because of its Firenze Red hue. This model is a top-spec HSE variant and comes pre-loaded with top-notch features.

     

The vehicle comes equipped with a 90kWh lithium-ion battery; there will be two synchronous permanent magnet electric motors at the rear axle and the front end. The engine can churn up a power worth 394bhp and the torque will be around 396Nm. The car will also have an AWD system. The Jaguar I-Pace is capable of speeding up from 0 to 100kmph within 4.8 seconds. Its maximum speed is about 200kmph.

The car facilitates rapid charging. You can charge it up to 80% in just about 45 minutes of time. There will be a 100kW rapid charger in the car. The battery takes about 10 hours to get charged completely with a 7kW AC wall box.

The model is equipped with a huge battery which is capable of offering about 480kms. There will also be features like heated seats and HVAC facilities which will be using up about 1% of the power of the battery.

According to the official announcement by Jaguar, there will be a 5-year long service package as well as five years of roadside assistance provision. Also, the company will be offering the standard 1,60,000km battery or 8-year warranty.

     

Pre-bookings have already been started for all-new Jaguar I-Pace electric vehicle. We can expect the company to launch it around March 2021. But it is still better to wait for the official announcement.
