Maruti Swift Facelift Details!

The Maruti Suzuki 2021 Swift facelift has been rolled out. The starting cost of the facelift is Rs 5.73 lakh. The facelift is available in 3 trim – LXI, VXI as well as ZXI. The total number of variants is 9.

The car comes equipped with both manual and AMT versions. The price of the manual Swift is between Rs 5.73 lakh and Rs 7.91 lakh. For the VXI variant, the price of the AMT version is around Rs 6.86 lakh, and for the ZXI+ dual-tone variant, one needs to spend Rs 8.41 lakh.

     

Alterations in the design:

The model has taken inspiration from the Japanese-spec Swift facelift. The car has a prominent front fascia. There is a new honeycomb mesh grille and a chrome slat at the centre. The previous model has a horizontal slat. The facelift has a revised headlamp as well as an altered front bumper. The fog lamp housings have been kept the same as the previous model. The hatchback brings you the option of dual-tone colour with a contrasting black roof made of glass. There will be brand new alloy wheels as well, similar to the international spec model. There will be an altered bumper at the back.

Interiors:

The cabin looks highly similar to the previous model. But there will be a new silver finish at the centre console. The same will be on the instrument console as well as steering mounted consoles. The digital instrument console gets updated with a bigger MID. It flaunts a 7-inch SamrtPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

     

Engine details:

The vehicle gets a new 1.2L dual-jet naturally aspirated K12N engine. The same engine powers the Dzire as well. It is capable of churning our power worth 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. This engine has been put to use by replacing a 1.2 litre K12M NA engine. It offered 82bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed AMT as well as a 5-speed manual.
